
Terms and Conditions
Purchase of tickets for Magikana Festival 2025 (or attendace as an artist or team member) signifies your acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions. Please thoroughly review them before booking your ticket.
These terms may undergo periodic modifications, and any announcements or terms directly communicated or posted on our website take precedence over the stated terms and conditions. Please check back regularly for any changes.

Tickets
- Magikana Festival is a ticket-only event. Anyone arriving at the festival without a ticket will be refused entry.
- Any ticket purchased cannot be refunded with the exception of the event being canceled. In that case, the booking fee is non-refundable.
- Full names must be given for all tickets and will be checked against legal identification upon entry to the festival.
- The names associated to the tickets can only be changed before 1st July 2024 by emailing to tickets@magikana.org
- Under 18’s tickets may only be purchased by the accompanying parent/guardian.
- The adult purchaser of the under 18’s tickets is the assumed guardian and responsible adult for any under 18’s they purchase tickets for.
- All under 18’s must be accompanied by their associated guardian/adult upon entry to the festival.
- There is a maximum ratio of two children for one parent/guardian, which will be enforced upon entry.
- Entry to the festival is under the condition that no alcohol will be supplied to under 18’s.
- Upon entry, tickets will be exchanged for a wristband at the Gate. Ticket-holders are responsible for their tickets until exchanged for a valid wristband.
- Wristbands are non-transferable and will become invalid if removed, tampered with, transferred, or resold. They must be worn at all times during the Festival.
- The published event program can be altered of changed without notice and without any obligation to refund.
- Any breach of these terms may result in ticket cancellation, refusal of admission, confiscation of items, or eviction, with no obligation to refund.
- Void tickets will not be refunded.
Ticket Payment by Instalments
- The final balance payment is due by the deadline date specified on your type of ticket.
- If the total balance is not received by the deadline, you forfeit all the payments you have made and the tickets will be voided. Under no circumstances will the festival accept balance payments after the deadline – it is your responsibility to ensure you have made payment before this date.
- You cannot pay the balance at the gate – if you arrive at the gate with only a receipt for a part paid ticket, you will not be allowed entry.
- We will email you a week before the deadline if you have a balance outstanding.
- You will receive an email receipt for your deposit payment and one for the balance payment but you will only receive the full barcoded ticket(s) once the whole value of the ticket(s) has been paid.
- The deposit and associated fees are non-refundable and no claim can be made to recover this money whatsoever.
Concessions Price Eligibility
You are eligible for a reduced priced adult ticket if you are one of the following:
- Fulltime student
- over 60 years of age
- in receipt of JSA/unemployment benefit, Income Support, DLA/ESA, Incapacity/PIP/ADP/CDP
You need to show proof when gaining entry/collecting your tickets or be asked to pay the difference.
Vehicles
If you are bringing a vehicle on to the site you must purchase a vehicle pass at the appropriate rate.
There is no access for vehicles over 7 ½ tonnes or vehicles or caravans wider than 7 feet.
Traffic in and out of the festival site is restricted to daylight hours (9am-9pm). You risk not being allowed entry if you arrive outside of these hours.
Any vehicles found without a pass, or parked in non designated area will be clamped or removed from the site.
Drugs and Alcohol
All illegal drugs and ‘legal highs’ are prohibited on the festival site.
Magikana Festival is a family friendly event and operates a zero tolerance approach to drugs. Possession of controlled drugs is just as illegal on the festival site as it is off it. All persons attending the event may be subject to a drugs and security search either at the point of entry, on the campsites, in the car parks, or elsewhere on the site.
Amnesty bins will be provided on site, but patrons are reminded that any individual found in possession of drugs may face prosecution. Any person found in possession of substances suspected to controlled drugs or legal highs may be refused entry or evicted from site.
Magikana Festival 2024 does not have have a license to sell or supply alcohol, please B.Y.O. (bring your own) in reasonable quantities.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Magikana Festival.
There is a limit of one dog per vehicle and each dog must be registered by emailing their name and photo, along with the owners details to tickets@magikana.org
Unregistered dogs will not be allowed entry to the festival.
By registering, dog owners agree to keep their dogs on a lead at all times, to clear up any dog mess immediately and dispose of it properly.
Uncooperative dog owners may be asked to leave the site or take their dog off site.
Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited at the Entrance Gate:
- Gas canisters, including nitrous oxide
- Unauthorised trading goods
- Items considered weapons
- Drones
- Disposable charcoal barbecues
- Fireworks and flares
- Glass
- Generators
- Illegal drugs
- Sound systems (except small portable speakers)
Security and Searches
Searches may be conducted anywhere on-site, including on individuals and vehicles. Searches will be conducted upon arrival, and attendees found with any prohibited items listed above may be denied entry and handed over to the police. Amnesty boxes are provided for the safe disposal of prohibited items.
General Rules
- Lineup and programmed activities are subject to change.
- Attendees must remain within the festival site.
- There will be areas marked ‘out of bounds’. Anyone found in these areas will be asked to leave.
- No entry or swimming in the large pond.
- Camping is only permitted within the designated camping areas. Anyone found wild camping in other parts of the farm will be asked to move.
- Smoking is prohibited in enclosed structures.
- Ticket holders must comply with security and site management instructions.
- Bonfires and disposable barbecues are strictly prohibited on site (small camping stoves or gas barbecues are allowed).
Antisocial Behaviour
In the event of antisocial, aggressive, unsafe or illegal behaviour, or in the event of non-cooperation with event staff, you may be required to leave the festival site. In this case, re-admission will not be permitted. Evictees will undergo an interview, and belongings must be collected by a friend or group member. Magikana Festival is not responsible for ensuring the retrieval of belongings.
Loss or Injury
The festival organisers or Landowners will not be held liable for any loss, injury or damage to persons or property sustained whilst attending Magikana Festival, including accessing and exiting the site between the Llanddewi Brefi and the festival site except in respect of death, injury and damage to property resulting from the promoter’s negligence. In the case of damage to the ticket holder’s property caused by the organiser’s negligence, the organiser’s liability shall be limited to the reasonable cost or either repairing or replacing such property subject to fair wear and tear.
Force Majeure
In the case of circumstances beyond normal control, such as war, civil or political unrest, actions and orders from the authorities, strikes, catastrophes, epidemics, or other severe damages or highly unexpected factors Magikana Festival may cancel the Festival, and the amounts received may not be refunded.
Official Filming and Sound Recording
All ticket holders consent to any official filming and sound recording as members of the audience and to the use, reproduction, storage and broadcasting of such films and recordings by the organiser, including any copies made.
Warning
LOUD MUSIC MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO HEARING. PLEASE BRING EARPLUGS OR KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM THE STAGES.
It is the parent’s responsibility to bring appropriate ear defenders for their children.
Please be aware that strobe lighting may be used.
